Hey everyone, for those who don’t know our story here is a little look into us: We met our freshman year at Central High School, introduced by our mutual close friends. Though we never officially dated during those four years, there was always a quiet sense that our story wasn’t finished yet. We went to senior prom together, spent much of that summer side by side, and Dantez saw me off to college. In the fall of 2016, we finally decided to explore what had always been there and began officially dating. Our dating journey during my college years were filled with unforgettable memories and beautiful surprises, along with tough conversations and moments when giving up felt easier than pushing through. Still, we chose each other. When the pandemic brought me home early in 2020, I moved in with Dantez—just as we had always planned. He stepped up for me in ways that made me understand just how important he was to me. Life together started just how we always had imagined, but soon challenged us in ways we never expected. We experienced loss together, new business ventures, moments of family heartbreak, personal growth, and spiritual growth with God. We learned hard lessons about love, grace, and how to show up better for one another. Through it all, we’ve grown—not just as individuals, but as partners. What began as a high-school connection has become a lasting commitment, and we’re so excited to begin this next chapter together!
