Jeffrey is currently serving as a diplomat for the United States Department of State. A world traveler and ambitious young man, he hadn't given much thought to love during his undergraduate years at Florida A&M University. That changed when he met Ebonee at the Honors Center induction ceremony, where she recited a poem. From that moment, they became friends and eventually something more when he accepted her invitation for a date. To some, this might be considered fate.

Ebonee is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Science Education at the University of Georgia. She first met Jeffrey during their undergraduate years at Florida A&M University, at the Honors Center induction ceremony. Following a series of serendipitous encounters, Ebonee asked Jeffrey out on a date in the spring of their freshman year. The rest, as they say, is history.

CJ and the groom forged their friendship on the highest of FAMU's seven hills. Meeting at the Honors Center, this unlikely pair grew incredibly close, always checking in with each other and even exchanging snacks after the café closed. When the groom sought CJ's advice on whether to take a chance with a certain young lady, CJ gave him the encouragement he needed. That young lady would become the love of his life. CJ and the groom will always remain the best of friends.

Mother of the Bride, Wedding Planner, Matron of Honor, and the Bride's Best Friend—Angela is always there when the Bride needs a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or a reassuring pat on the back. She is also there for every accomplishment, achievement, and milestone, celebrating all of the Bride's endeavors.

Chris and the groom met in the most peculiar way. Chris worked with Ebonee as a teaching assistant, and over time, they became good friends. However, when Chris and Jeffrey first crossed paths at a small pizza parlor, they instantly connected. Chris's love of science fiction, fantasy, and endlessly fascinating stories perfectly aligned with Jeffrey's interests, and the duo quickly became close friends.

Amy has known the bride, Ebonee, since the 9th grade, and they both graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University together. Sharing the experience of high school and college has forged a close bond between them. Amy also played a key role in bringing the bride and groom together, a fact for which they both credit her.
Kyle Bligen

Kyle and the groom have been like brothers since they met during a shared internship on Capitol Hill. Countless laughs, hours of online gaming, and thoughtful discussions forged their strong bond. Despite the challenge of sharing a one-bedroom apartment in D.C., they made it work and created a home together. Many adventures later, they remain good friends.

Miko and the bride have been friends since the 6th grade, and they attended high school together as well. Miko is the quintessential ride-or-die friend, always just a phone call away. She's always ready with a plane ticket for any adventure with the bride and groom. Miko is also the one friend who has attended the most anime and gaming conventions with the couple.

The bond between the groom and Mojib feels timeless, despite having only known each other for a few years. Their shared love of public diplomacy, kindness, and humor transformed two strangers into great friends. They met through a fellowship program in 2020, but it was during a shared virtual training experience a year later, when they became neighbors, that their friendship truly blossomed. After many walks and late-night discussions, the two remain close friends.

Stephanie has been friends with the bride since 7th grade. Although they attended different high schools, they reconnected even more strongly in college. The bride credits Stephanie with being the shy, quiet, yet honest and steadfast friend who has helped her overcome numerous obstacles in life.
