To make a long story long, their parents were friends before they were born. They shared family parties, worked baseball camps together, and Ray played softball with Meg’s dad and brother. A few baseball games later, the years passed. It wasn’t until much later that Meg lost a game of ‘Odds Are’ to her sister, a simple and silly game that would end up rekindling a connection neither of them saw coming. Both of them were away at college at the time, conveniently just an hour apart—shoutout to SUNY Oneonta and SUNY Poly! What started as a coincidence turned into something more, and the rest, as they say, was history. Weekends started to look like visiting each other’s schools, meeting each other’s roommates and teams, partying in frat basements and Springate, attending SUNY Poly baseball games, eating lots of late-night pizza, devouring innumerable buffalo chicken wings, and nervously waiting to tell our families. Fast forward 8 years later and here we are! We have been talking about this day forever and we cannot wait to celebrate our love with the people we love!
