What is the dress code?

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking at the venue but if you plan on drinking we suggest using our shuttle to and from the hotel.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Weather varies around this time but it usually gets chilly at night time. There will be heaters in the pavilion but it might not be a bad idea to bring an extra layer.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on a putting green overlooking Torch Lake; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking in the grass. The reception will take place in a outdoor pavilion behind the putting green. There will be patio heaters but if you get cold easily it might not be a bad idea to bring an extra layer for the evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we have two hotels with blocks! There will be a shuttle picking up and dropping off guests before the wedding and at the conclusion of the reception. Please see the Travel & Accommodations page for more details on which hotels we have blocks at.

What is the RSVP deadline? Where do I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP by Saturday August 15th. See the RSVP tab on this website to complete the RSVP form.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and the reception. We always encourage bringing cash to tip the bartenders!

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

We love your little ones, but due to space restrictions at our venue, we can't accommodate them unless otherwise specified.

Are there Ubers/Lyfts in Traverse City?

Answer

We have been warned that there are very few if any ride share options in the Traverse City area. We will have a shuttle the day of the wedding going to and from the hotels and venue. If you plan on needing a ride outside of that time or those locations please plan ahead.

Will you have a shuttle bus from the hotels to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, we will have two shuttle buses that will drive guests to and from the hotels and wedding venue.
