When and where is the wedding ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on October 15, 2022 at the Historic Mankin Mansion in Richmond, Virginia.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. The ceremony will take place in the Gallery on the HMM grounds, and the reception will take place in a climate-controlled tent nearby. However, the cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the grounds of the venue.

Are children allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. We can provide helpful information about sitters in the area closer to the wedding date if needed.

Will there be a cookie table?

Answer

Yes! In line with Western PA tradition, we will have a cookie table at our reception. If you would like to bake cookies to bring, please let us know and we will let you know where to take them on the big day.

Will Fox be at the wedding?

Answer

While Fox can be quite the party animal, we will be leaving him back home in Pittsburgh for the duration of the wedding weekend.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is cocktail/black-tie optional.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP of any dietary restrictions, whether that be an allergy or vegan preference so that we can plan accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is space for some parking at the venue but space is limited. There will also be an area designated for ride share pick-up/drop-off as well as shuttle service to and from the Hilton Garden Inn and the Hampton Inn.

Please RSVP by September 10, 2022.
