We met at the Jaffa Shrine in 2014 when it was hosting Part III of the Sci-fi Valley Con, June 27-29. Matt was raising money for charity with the Gearbox Union, which is where we initially met. My sister, Cassidy, insisted I ask this cute guy for his number (Matt) and was on my case all weekend to make a move. (Fun fact: all three ladies who were there when I first met Matt are my bridesmaids!) It wasn't until a week later that I gathered enough courage to friend him and a few of his Gearbox buddies on facebook (I couldn't look like a creep and only friend him, right??). Uncharacteristically, I messaged him and the rest is history. Cassidy still takes full credit for our getting together.

To our parents. They have been by our sides our whole lives and were essential parts of the wedding planning process. Our day would not have been possible without their support and encouragement! (We love you!)
