FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 12, right here on the website!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our celebration and in our lives is gift enough for us, but for those who insist on a gift, we’ve compiled a few options in the Registry section of our website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We plan to begin at 4, so we’d love it if you arrived a few minutes early to grab a welcome drink, say hello to your friends and family, and find a seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is appreciated. But we want you to be comfortable. The bride will definitely be wearing comfy shoes during the reception. Feel free to plan accordingly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at Holiday Inn Manahawkin/Long Beach Island. Check the Hotel section of our website for more details.

Question

Can I make a special food request?

Answer

Our cocktail hour and buffet dinner cover a variety of dietary needs and preferences. Please email us at gregandlaurenh@gmail.com if you have specific dietary needs or allergies and we will do our very best to accommodate you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on site. The venue is 3 minutes from the hotel. We encourage carpooling, particularly with a designated driver!

Question

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

Thanks so much for asking. Our venue has very sensitive fire alarms so there is absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the venue. We will be fined if the fire alarms are triggered from smoke. Those who wish to smoke or vape are asked to do so outside, away from entryways where smoke could travel inside the venue. We appreciate your help in keeping the venue smoke-free!

Question

What if I want to yell outside after 10pm?

Answer

That’s an oddly specific question. But since you asked: there is a noise ordinance that goes into effect at 10pm, so we will ask that all guests keep their voices down and refrain from playing music outside.
