Travel Requirements for Entering Canada
For air travel: UK and Cayman Islands Passport holders - must get an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before boarding a flight to Canada. An eTA is not a visa but is a mandatory online entry clearance linked to your passport.

A few important details to keep in mind: - Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged for the full stay, including taxes. - Early departures and no-shows will also be charged for the full stay. - The total rate may appear slightly higher than the base room rate, as it includes a $39 resort fee. We truly appreciate you making the trip to celebrate with us — it means so much, and we can’t wait to spend such a special weekend together. Helpful Flight Details
Option 1 – Via Toronto (Recommended) Airline: WestJet Depart Grand Cayman (GCM): ~2:50 PM Arrive Toronto (YYZ): ~6:59 PM Depart Toronto: ~10:15 PM Arrive Calgary (YYC): ~12:45 AM (next day) - This is one of the smoothest and most convenient routes, with a comfortable layover time. Option 2 – Via Toronto (Alternate Timing) Airline: Air Canada Similar routing through Toronto (YYZ) Multiple departure times available earlier in the day Overnight arrival in Calgary - A good alternative if you prefer different departure times or airline loyalty options. Option 3 – Via U.S. Cities Airlines: American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, or United Airlines Routes may connect through cities like Miami, Dallas, or Houston Typically longer travel times and U.S. customs requirements - These can sometimes offer competitive pricing but may involve more travel time. Helpful Tips We recommend arriving in Calgary on December 4 to align with wedding events. Try to book flights with at least 2–3 hours for connections. Booking early is encouraged, especially for December travel.

The Westin Calgary Airport
We have personally stayed at The Westin Calgary Airport and had a really positive experience. It’s a great option for anyone who would prefer to spend a night in Calgary before making the scenic drive up to Lake Louise. Breaking up the trip can make for a more relaxed travel day, especially if you’re arriving late or just want a little extra time to settle in. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, making it a convenient and stress-free place to recharge before heading into the mountains.

Airport shuttles are available from Calgary International Airport to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with regularly scheduled service. Reservations are required at least 1 hour in advance. Shuttle fares are typically starting from CA$66.75 per adult one way.
