La Guitarria de Barcelona
Strike a deal in the Gothic Quarter at this store, which sells handmade flamenco and classic guitars crafted from exotic woods. Kenny was particularly excited about the ebony wood guitars—perhaps it was a happy coincidence.
Barcelona Duck Store
Nestled in the Gothic Quarter, right across from a delightful French bakery, this quirky store is a treasure trove of ducks in every imaginable shape and size. It’s a whimsical wonderland that has Ebony absolutely quacking with excitement.

It’s a captivating blend of art and spirituality, complete with an excellent museum about its construction in the basement. Don’t forget to get tickets!
Picasso Museum Barcelona
A museum spread over five palaces—we’d expect nothing less for Picasso, who moved to Barcelona as a 14-year-old boy and made frequent trips back throughout his life. Downstairs, a courtyard and Gothic archways lead into white studios that illuminate his works. Upstairs, the rooms are lavish: epic painted ceilings that almost drip crystal chandeliers. Visitors flock here to see Picasso's work, but the special setting is why they come back again and again.
Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey
Located just outside Barcelona and easily accessible by train, the Benedictine Monastery at Montserrat offers some of Catalunya's most spectacular mountain views. Explore the holy grotto where the Virgin Mary was reportedly seen, enjoy world-famous recitals by the Montserrat Choir boys, and take in the breathtaking mountain trails. On-site, you'll find restaurants with a rotating menu and delicious wine. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on-site.
