It all started back at good ol’ North Carolina Wesleyan College. We would see each other around campus and Javon would always try to talk to me. I blew him off for awhile, but I couldn’t resist his charm and finally gave in. Best decision of my life because now I’m marrying my best friend.

Javon told me we were taking family pics at Friendship Fountain. If you know me you know I hate taking pictures! But I sucked it up for him. While we were posing for pictures my family and friends walked up behind me. Javon told me to turn around and at that moment I knew it was finally happening. I turned back around and he was on one knee. My eyes filled with tears, so much emotion that I couldn’t even speak. All I could do was nod my head yes. I was so thankful to be able to cherish that moment with all of our close family and friends. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
