Maid of Honor
She's known the Bride for almost 26 years now and has seen her through every phase of life! From entertaining each other during bath time as kids to helping plan Riley's Bachelorette Party, there's no one more fit for the title!
Matron of Honor
The first sister in the family, the mother of the flower girls, and the best advice giver about how to avoid stupid boys in high school and college. Riley has learned so much from Katie's example - including how to find someone as incredible as Kyle and how to plan a kick-ass wedding!
Bridesmaid
As Kyle's older sister, Marisa has been a role model in Kyle's life from the start. Games, family traditions, and night owl TV watching molded their bond in childhood. As adults, Kyle and Riley aim to follow Marisa and her husband Omar's footsteps in being adventurous travelers, responsible homeowners, and loving companions. Riley considers herself lucky to be gaining another big sister!
Bridesmaid
Riley's freshman year roommate at Cal Poly. They didn't get along at first (Riley is too messy for Lauren), but quickly became best friends as they shared so many college memories together. Lauren is adventurous, goofy and sarcastic (which keeps Riley in check). The two of them together are a recipe for a good time. Who would have thought that meeting each other on a Facebook Cal Poly Roommate page would lead to Lauren standing by Riley's side at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Another friend from freshman year at Cal Poly. Riley spent so much time at Jen's apartment, the running joke was that Riley was their "7th Roommate". From learning line dancing together, to breaking into hotel hot tubs, to many late night taco bell runs, the two have been through so much together. Jen and Riley continue to have a very close friendship bonding over work-life balance, Taylor Swift, arts and crafts, and simply navigating life together!
Bridesmaid
Riley was also the “7th roommate” to Hannah, as Hannah and Jen roomed together all through college. Riley weaseled her way into this dynamic duo to make a well rounded trio of girls! (Ask the trio why they call their friend group the “Wednesday Weenies”!) Riley considers Hannah to be the life of every party and the best hype girl, and the two have bonded even further since Hannah’s return back to the U.S. after living abroad in Spain for 2 years. Riley can’t picture her wedding day without Hannah by her side.
Bridesmaid
Mak and Riley have known each other since kindergarten and have remained by each others sides through so many life events! Some of Riley's fondest memories with Mak include carpooling everyday to high school together, many volleyball tryouts and games, and a girls weekend in SLO when Mak came to visit. Little Mak & Ri would be so proud of the friendship they've maintained over the years, even with their living in different states since they were 18.
Best Man
Kyle's younger brother has grown from the adorable lad pictured here into the BEST man today, pun intended. Their different interests (sports for Kyle, arts for Jacob) didn't stop them from bonding over board games, pool days, lightsaber fights, and The Office. Kyle looks up to his younger brother's comedic wit, fearlessness acting on stage, and genuine heart.
Assistant to the Best Man
Alec was in Kyle's Cal Poly freshman orientation group, and despite the fact that Kyle thought his name was Dalton for two days, became his best friend. The theme of their friendship was, "Yes I'm down to do (insert good/funny/idiotic idea here) with you, of course." This dynamic led to countless memories and an incredible bond.
Groomsman
As fraternity brothers, coworkers at a physical therapy clinic, and roommates for 3 years, Peter and Kyle spent a lot of time together. That was lucky for Kyle, because life is better with a Peter Gault around. You'll find these guys talking health & fitness, playing golf, and doing just about everything together. Peter is also the heavy favorite to be crowned Best Dancer at the end of the wedding, but welcomes all challengers.
Groomsman
2 years older than Kyle, Austin is an important big-brother-type role model to Kyle. Although their paths only crossed for a year in college, the bond they formed then grew over time due to Austin's visits back to SLO, annual group trips to Palm Springs, and excursions to Six Flags, Vegas, Tahoe and more. Austin and Kyle love competing in all types of games, losing responsible amounts of money in casinos, and deep conversations.
Groomsman
Fraternity brother, roommate for 3 years, and a heck of a friend. Kyle hated how much money Joey spent eating out in college, and Joey hates how Kyle refuses to factor trees into his decisions on the golf course, but other than that these guys are best pals. Kyle and Joe spend their time together competing in all sorts of games, traveling together, and just being dumb together. The friends you are the weirdest around are often the best ones.
Groomsman
There aren't many people like Jason, a walnut/olive farmer who has driven >95% of the highway miles in California and seen more old movies than your grandparents. On top of that though, he is another older fraternity brother of Kyle's and a big role model for how to stay in touch with friends and prioritize the journey over the destination. The two have driven to NYC together, seen not-often-seen corners of California, and shared some good hard laughs along the way.
Groomsman
Kyle and Palé go back to high school as football lineman pals and training partners. Their friendship continued with Kyle hosting Palé's memorable annual college visits to San Luis Obispo, and then with annual couples weekends in various California locations. Palé is what you'd get if you combined a teddy bear with a firecracker, but in between his eye rolls, Kyle has always been impressed with the man Matt is and is honored to have him stand with him on his wedding day 14 years after meeting him.
Flower Girls
5 years old and full of spunk, goofiness, and rockstar qualities. Grace is sure to get the party started, so bring your dancing shoes! 1.5 years old and the happiest baby you'll ever meet, Finley is proud of learning to walk in time for the big day.
