Oh where to begin.... We met in 2017 on Hinge in New York and spent the next two years living the city life in love. We moved in together, and even spent three months living in Barcelona while traveling around Europe. In the summer of 2019, we took a wee bit of a "break". We remained best friends, and when COVID hit a few months later, we quarantined together in our old apartment. Most people would think staying with your ex is hell...but not for us! From Love is Blind to Tiger King, we had so much fun doing pretty much nothing! (And that's a true bestie for ya). During COVID, Sarah moved to Virginia while AJ stayed in New York. We remained super close, still traveling the states together and visiting often. Over time, we both started to noticed that we had made the changes we needed to back in 2019. In February 2022, we decided to give our relationship another go. Round 2! But this time...it felt different. We moved in together (again) in December 2022, spent a year in Jersey City, then a year in Charlotte’s South End before buying our home in Huntersville in November 2024! In February 2025, we got engaged in Cancun. AJ took Sarah out on a boat so she had no choice but to say yes ;) All along, it was the right person, wrong time, which we both knew deep down. But we made it! And we are SO excited to celebrate with you!!
