We started dating in 2016. I had two small children and Jesse was working out of town a lot. I had just moved out on my own with Vince and Aly. After months of dating as well as years of knowing each other since high school I asked Jesse to move in with me and we have been together ever since. He took care of my two children like they were his own and grew to have an amazing bond with them. We moved out of the duplex and into a house together. During these next few years Jesse would lose both his mother and father and I would lose my step-father who helped raise me since I was very young. This was obviously very hard on the both of us but we manage to hold on to one another rather than push away. Jesse got a better job and I quit my job to be able to spend more time with the kids. Jesse proposed on my birthday June 12th, 2020. We picked our wedding venue at Millikan Farms and as luck would have it they had September 24th available- our anniversary! We are currently planning for our beautiful wedding and also looking for a new house to start this new chapter we are about to begin!

Jesse had planned to get us VIP passes for the Sky Wheel at Myrtle Beach SC. It was so sweet and I felt so special. We got to skip a very long line of people, we got gift bags, inside it had leather seats, air conditioning, and a glass bottom floor. I love the Sky Wheel because it is just so beautiful not to mention the beach is my happy place. Jesse and I had been talking about getting married but he assured me it wouldn't be soon because we needed to save for the house we wanted to get. I was very disappointed but tried to manage to have a good time. While up at the top of the Sky Wheel overlooking the ocean Jesse told me how much he loved me and how happy he is with me. Of course me being the person I am thought this would be a perfect time for a joke so I said "What are you gonna do, Propose?" while laughing. Jesse starts laughing and pulls out the ring and says "Yes. Will you marry me?" And that ladies and gentlemen is the story of how I managed to ruin such a perfect moment :)
