Levi and I first met at Rookies in Clear Lake, Iowa through mutual friends at the time. We were all going to a haunted hike in Clear Lake. There were 3 females and 3 males and they would not let us all go together so the girls went together while the men went together. Upon completing the haunted hike, we went back to a couple bars to have some fun. Levi and I began flirting but the both of us were to scared to make the first move. We exchanged Snapchat information and kept in touch and stayed friends. At that point I was not interested in anything long term as was he, and just were just up for fun. Fast forward to May 18, 2018 at the races in Britt, I was sitting with a mutual friend and my daughter when he came up to talk. At that moment the butterflies came back and I knew he was something special. I talked to him the rest of the night and my daughter even talked to him and absolutely adored him. I knew I had to talk to him more and get to hang out. It was instant connection and we were spending every moment we could together. The rest is history 💜
