We first met at Cumberland College, where we were both in the same class studying to become paramedics. What started as classmates quickly turned into something more, and before long we were spending as much time together as we could. Our first official date is one we’ll never forget. We decided to go skating… on a night that hit –30°C. It was freezing, miserable, and honestly a terrible idea. But neither of us wanted to cancel, even though each of us wanted the other person to. This was the first instance of our stubborn love. We got engaged July 4th last year in Melfort, the city we met and worked in. Now, we are extremely excited to begin our long lives together and celebrate our love with all of you.
