This special love story begins in August of 2014 at the University of Arizona where Hannah and Jeff met at their dorm, Likins Hall. Jeff was surrounded by many of his best friends also heading to Tucson from Newport Beach and Hannah was joined by many close girlfriends from Phoenix. It was an especially exciting time as Hannah’s dad and Jeff’s mom previously attended U of A themselves - just a few years prior, of course. Hannah and Jeff started off their college careers going through sorority and fraternity rush process as many do. Hannah joined Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Jeff joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon. The two began to see each other often at Greek life events, nights out, pre-business classes, and Likins Hall study rooms. Jeff seemed to know everybody on campus with a nickname to match. We couldn’t believe he wasn’t from Arizona as everyone was always happy to see him, with his infectious smile and shake of your shoulders that instantly make your day better. Hannah, bubbly and up for anything, was loved by all for her ability to make you smile and make everything fun. We all filled our days with new adventurous and laughs and nights out at SAE where our larger friend groups became close friends. The two lit up every room they walked into and people gravitated to them as they were truly the life of the party. This all continued until we reached our junior year and it was time to declare our business major - and what do you know, Hannah and Jeff both chose Finance. Their friendship continued to grow and the two quickly seemed to be working on every assignment together. Not long after that, Hannah would look at her phone and light up and we knew it was “her friend, Jeff”. “Her friend, Jeff”, would come over to our house most nights before going out or we would head to his house and spend our nights listening to Sweet Caroline at Dirtbags. We all knew the rest was soon to be history when Jeff started accompanying Hannah on her daily AJ’s trip for an iced tea, or to a spin class, and no other friends were to be found. Once they realized they were no longer just friends, or Hannah realized that Jeff was really just playing the long-game as we all saw it, the two fell in love and became inseparable. Hannah and Jeff moved to Los Angeles after graduating and now live in Santa Monica with their goldendoodle, Toby. Lucky for all of us they are getting MARRIED and we get to officially celebrate their love story as they become the Johnstons, surrounded by their family and friends that love them so dearly. Hannah and Jeff - You are both truly the easiest people to celebrate, and I feel so lucky to have witnessed two of my best friends find, and grow up with, the love of their lives.
