David and I meet originally during our junior high years at Goodwyn. During this time we had the same mutual friends, but never did our paths cross for dating. In 2023 I had a friend (Julie) tell me girl give the Facebook dating app a try. I had tried dating apps before and well they didn’t go so well. One night I was board and decided what the heck let’s try out Facebook. I swiped yes on David and the rest seems like history. A few days later David swiped yes and we began texting/talking over the phone. I’ll never forget him asking me “do you remember me from junior high school” and my saying “sorry I really don’t”. I can’t believe I didn’t run him off right then. We began to spend time together and quickly realized that we had a connection like never before with anyone else we dated. We began to meet each other’s family and I meet David’s kids. On June 20, 2024 we went to the beach for what I thought was just a walk at sunset. Little did I know that David was about to get down on one knee with the kids present.
