Question

What do the current Kansas City guidelines for Covid-19 look like in Kansas City?

Answer

Here is a link to the city website so you know what safety practices we will be following. This website is subject to change. https://www.kcmo.gov/city-hall/departments/health/coronavirus-covid-19-kcmo-information-and-response/reopen

Question

Do you have a Covid-19 update to the wedding plans?

Answer

We will be having a small ceremony on our original date, 8/1/2020. We will then be having both a ceremony and a reception on 7/23/2021.

Question

What hashtag should I use for the wedding?

Answer

#EastCoastWedsNoCoast

Question

How do I travel in the city without public transportation?

Answer

Uber.com Lyft.com https://www.ztrip.com/kansas-city/ Or your hotel's shuttle.

Question

Can I use the streetcar to get to the church/Loose Mansion?

Answer

Unfortunately not yet. The streetcar ends about 2 miles from each and we don’t recommend walking since it is all uphill. We do suggest your hotel shuttle or Uber/Lyft/zTrip.

Question

What is a burnt end and why should I be eating it?

Answer

Burnt ends are flavorful pieces of meat cut from the "point" half of a smoked brisket. A traditional part of Kansas City barbecue, burnt ends are considered a delicacy in barbecue cooking.

Question

How late does the streetcar run?

Answer

Check their website. This has been changing as the city reopens.
