Things To Do
Highlights & Activities at Niagara Cave
Guided cave tour — The main attraction is a one-hour guided tour through a mile-long underground passage ~200 feet below the surface. You’ll see cave formations, dramatic rock walls, a subterranean stream, and even an underground waterfall.
Fossils & geology — Inside the cave you can find 450-million-year-old fossils embedded in the limestone, offering a fascinating peek into ancient marine life and Earth’s geological past.
Mini-golf — Outside the cave there’s an 18-hole miniature golf course, which is a fun family-friendly activity especially if some in our group prefer staying above ground.
Gemstone & fossil mining sluice — You can try your hand at “gem mining”: sift through bags of sand & gravel to discover real gemstones and fossils — a popular and memorable activity for kids and adults.
Picnic & playground areas — There are picnic tables, a covered pavilion, and a playground to let kids burn off energy before or after the cave tour.
