Long story short, Earl slid in the DM's. After some time talking about photography, a mutual hobby or ours, through social media and the phone, we decided to meet in person and the rest is history. Here we are 3 years later and planning the first day of our forever.
Insert romantic surprise proposal that I always dreamt of here.... Okay, hope no one was holding their breath. LOL The proposal was something completely different of what I always envisioned but I wouldn't have it any other way. Earl was deployed in Romania for almost 9 months when he decided to take some leave and visit me for a week. During Earl's visit, he stated that he was looking for a ring for me... He didn't need to say anymore. I dragged him to about five different jewelers that week. He asked my parents for their blessing and we found my dream ring a few days before he had to fly back to Romania. Of course he wanted to wait to get a ring until he came back officially from deployment so he could do one of those cute surprise proposals that I always bugged him about, but lets face it y'all, if you know me... when I want something... I want it right right then and there. The most important thing to me was the feeling of knowing that this man that never thought of marriage being apart of his life hourney, was now wanting to put a ring on my finger. So I threw all the cute proposal ideas I thought I wanted out the window because none of that mattered anymore. All that mattered at that point and time was having Earl as my forever life partner and I cannot wait for our union. See you all at the alter!
