In August 2018, Will and Elizabeth met in a kebab shop in Leeds. Will, in true cheeky style, stole a slice of Elizabeth’s takeaway pizza. She probably should have been annoyed, but instead it sparked the start of something special. After a week of Snapchatting (with Will claiming he had “no data”), he asked for Elizabeth’s number. Their first date was at The Alchemist in Leeds, and Will drove 40 miles from Bradford just to pick her up - already showing that she was worth the trip. Elizabeth was at university in Sheffield from 2018 to 2022, but that didn’t stop Will from visiting most weekends. They made the distance work, building a bond that only grew stronger over time. In 2022, they moved into their first home together and started their careers. Life felt like it was falling into place perfectly, and they loved building it together. Then, in December 2024, in the quiet of a hotel room in Edinburgh, Will proposed. Elizabeth said yes (obviously!), and their next adventure began.
