FAQs

If you have any questions not listed here, please contact us at our email - eandqwedding2026@gmail.com
Question

What is the rule on photography?

Answer

We greatly appreciate everyone attending. Photos including the bride and groom should not be posted online. You are more than welcome to take photos for your own personal keepsakes that do not include us!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear clothing that is semi-casual. This includes khakis and smart denims, button down shirts, jackets, sundresses, blouses, and similar clothing (think Sunday best)! Dresses can be tea-length, knee-length, and floor-length. Lightweight and comfortable materials are strongly recommended. As the reception will be outdoors, please wear closed toe shoes. We ask all guests to avoid wearing excess white or red. If you have clothing that you love but simply do not have the opportunity to use elsewhere (renaissance faire-esque or the like), we invite you to wear it!

Question

What time will it be?

Answer

It will take place on August 15th, 2026. Our doors will open at 5:00 P.M. and the event will end at 9:00 P.M.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask potential guests to submit their RSVP's by April 30th, 2026.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The bride and groom welcome children at our event who are invited! We look forward to sharing the day with our loved ones, kids included.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we ask that guests do not bring a plus one. If you have a plus one who was not invited on the invitation envelope and you believe it was in error, please contact us.

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

We ask guests to park in our driveway, on our neighbor's driveway (we will direct you) or on one end of the road. As we live on a dead end, please avoid parking on both sides of the street. We encourage carpooling.

Question

Will food and drink be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will provide cold beverages, desserts, and catering. There will be no alcohol served at this event. The drinks will include water and sodas, the desserts will include cupcakes and cookies (chocolate) and we plan on catering tacos. If you have a special request such as food restrictions or allergies, please contact us. You are more than welcome to bring your own food and drink.

Question

I would like to give a gift, how do I do so?

Answer

Please do not feel obligated to give us a gift. We do not have a registry, so if you would like to give us a gift, please do so in cash or gift cards.

Question

I'm worried about accessibility. What is the venue like?

Answer

The venue will be our backyard. It is sizeable. We will have a large tent to shield from the elements, it will be well-lit, and a dance floor will be temporarily installed to prevent sinking shoes. Food and drink will be provided. There will be tables and chairs for anyone needing to sit frequently. There is one bathroom on site. Please be aware that this is not wheelchair accessible and will have a small staircase to the lawn. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Question

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

Yes! Due to space concerns, there will be assigned seating during the dinner rush. Guests will be given a table number to sit at, although the exact seat is up to you!

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

The porch is covered, as well as the tent(s) that will be set up for our day. If there is inclement weather and you no longer feel comfortable attending, please do not feel obligated to stay! Guests are invited to stay for as long or as little as they like.
