What precautions are you taking for Covid-19?

Answer

We understand that Covid-19 is still very present in our lives. Our ceremony and reception venues are rather large spaces with ample room for social distancing and windows for ventilation. We are expecting about 80 guests. We will be providing masks and hand sanitizing stations at both locations. Masking will be subject to state mandates and/or requirements set up by the Arch Diocese of Washington and Fort Meade. We will monitor the numbers and determine seating accordingly to keep everyone save and comfortable.

Are the wedding and reception in one location?

Answer

No, the ceremony will take place at the Bitter Family's church, St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church, in Greenbelt, MD. This is the same church where Melissa's grandparents and parents were married. The reception will take place at Club Meade, on Fort Meade Army Installation. This is a change from Positano's in Bethesda, which has unfortunately gone out of business. Information on entering the base will be provided with formal invitations.

Are children welcome at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we would love to celebrate with you and your children. We have changed venue to a large space on Fort Meade Army Installation. It is safe for kids with a large grasses lawn all around set back from the road if you need to step outside with your little ones.

Do you have a block of rooms available for guests?

Answer

Yes, please see the travel page for more information. We have a small block of rooms reserved at the Sonesta Select in Greenbelt, MD. We also have a list of suggestions for hotels in both Greenbelt. There are also many options available on AirBnB in this area.
