We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Our first date was at Barrio in downtown East Lansing. Erik was late. Erika thought she was getting stood up...until her phone rang about 5 minutes after he was supposed to be there. Thankfully, as you know, he made it. We talked for hours over chips, salsa & queso and shared a delightfully awkward hug as we said goodnight and then laughed about the awkwardness moments later via text. Our second date was about a week and a half later at Jolly Pumpkin followed by a visit to Pinball Pete's for some competitive skee-ball. Our first kiss happened right outside but only after Erika nearly ruined the moment. It was the night of our third date, after a sushi dinner and a walk in one of the MSU gardens where our first picture together was taken together, that they both knew this was something incredibly special. Their first "I love you" took place at Erika's house (now their joint home) a few months later, after watching "The Holiday," one of their favorite holiday movies. Their love story has only grown and gotten better from there!
