For those of you in town we are planning on celebrating our last few days of the single life together on New Years Eve. We'll plan on viewing the Winter Lights Exhibit* at the Arboretum, then move on to near by Sierra Nevada Brewery, Asheville, or back down to Brevard for some drinks and to ring in the New Year. We can decide where the party moves to after the garden light show! *These tickets sell out, so if you're planning on attending buy them in advance on-line. Tickets are $20 per person. We'll plan on having a group dinner with everyone from out of town. We're not sure if we'll be hosting this at our place, or if we'll be meeting in town. This one will depend on Eric's construction speed with the house (so everyone give him a lot of pressure ;-) ). Either way, I'll clarify the location prior to the day and we'll share a meal then make it an early night so we're all bright for the ceremony in the morning.

Our Ceremony

Warm and "dressy casual"
This is the best address to use for a GPS. You will want to stay straight on Boat Dock Rd rather than turning into the Camp, it's relatively obvious which direction the dock is when you arrive. The ceremony will be outside and next to a lake, so keep in mind we're in the mountains in January and dress warmly. We'll likely arrange to caravan from our house, which is about halfway between the ceremony location and Brevard. Expect a short and sweet ceremony, some pictures, and some beautiful views.
After Glow Brunch
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
After the ceremony we'll head back to Brevard for some food and drinks before we're off to our honeymoon. This is very informal, and just to celebrate a bit in a warmer setting. Please check out the menu's for the restaurants below and let us know which each of you prefer, we'll go with the majority. I'd like to give whichever restaurant a heads up since we could have up to 15 people. If any of you think you'll be hitting the road directly after the ceremony and won't be part of this head count, just let us know. I'll clarify the location prior to the day.
