What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is black tie optional. For ladies, wear a floor length dress or gown. For men, tuxes! If you don't have a tux, then a suit works great. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (on grass) so please dress accordingly. For our welcome party on Friday night: the attire is smart casual. Formal dresses and ties are not expected but dress however you feel comfortable.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive promptly at 6pm. The entrance to our venue is located at 1000 Washington Ave, not the public entrance to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Keep in mind, this is New York City where traffic is unpredictable. Please allow yourself extra time to travel to our venue from your accommodation.

Will parking be available at the venue?

Answer

There will be an open bar to enjoy at our wedding so we encourage everyone to ride-share or take public transportation. However, if you do choose to drive, there are parking lots at 900 Washington Ave and 272 St Johns Pl where you will be required to pay an hourly fee.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only guests addressed on your invitation are invited since we have strict capacity limit at the venue. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we'd love to have your children join us, there is a strict capacity limit at the venue so unfortunately no children are allowed except those involved in the wedding.

Answer

Yes, you can check out the Travel page. We have a limited number of spots but there are many options available in Brooklyn.
