If you'd like to drive, there's a parking lot at the Curling Club and plenty of street parking around Anna's parents' house. If you're planning to take a Lyft/Uber, they're fairly affordable and easy to book from within the city. If you'd like to bike, the Curling Club is about two miles away from Anna's parents' house.
That's up to you! There will be locker rooms available at the curling club if you'd like to change after curling. Do keep in mind that you'll be curling on an ice rink, so it'll be cold! The curling club manager told us that the rink is about 30 degrees. So you might want to bring a sweater along, at the very least. If it's helpful for your planning, Anna and Eamonn will be wearing tracksuits for curling and then changing into a breezy, casual wedding dress (Anna) and a suit and tie (Eamonn) for the ceremony and reception. But you're also more than welcome to wear the same outfit for curling as you wear to the reception. Our priority is that you're comfortable, happy, and have fun—it truly doesn't matter to us what you wear.
Yes! We'll make sure there's something to accommodate those three dietary restrictions at both meals. If you have a dietary restriction beyond those three, please email us (anna.eamonn.wedding@gmail.com) to let us know.
Definitely not! The Curling Club has a warm and cozy clubhouse area (where we'll eat lunch) on the second floor with big picture windows that look out on the curling rink. There's also a large heated area off the rink on the first floor where you can hop off the rink and hang out.
You do not! You're welcome to do five minutes of curling and spend the rest of the time hanging out in the clubhouse (or five minutes of hanging out and the rest of the time curling!). Totally your call.
