Travel from US to Vietnam
There is no direct flight from the US to Can Tho, Vietnam, which is where the wedding will take place. There are a few options: 1. Take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, then take a shuttle or bus to Can Tho. It takes 3-4 hours to get from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho City. We plan to arrange shuttles for guests. If this is what you want to do, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/GNtKdL8Tb5Euuw1s8. 2. Take a flight to Ha Noi or Da Nang, then take a domestic flight to Can Tho. From the Can Tho airport, it takes 15-30 minutes to get to any hotel by taxi or Grab (Asian Uber). If you don’t want to take a shuttle from Ho Chi Minh, this is probably the better option. You can even arrange to travel for a few days in Ha Noi or Da Nang before going to Can Tho. We recommend buying international tickets 4-6 months ahead of time. For domestic air travel, Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet are both great options. For domestic ground travel within a city, Grab is available in pretty much every major metropolitan. The service is available via an app. We don’t recommend taxis unless you’re traveling with a local because they might up-charge you.
