Suggested Friday Activities (before Welcome Party)
For our New Yorkers who are visiting Orange County for the first time. We have curated a suggested schedule for Friday day activities. Option 1: Newport Beach Grab a breakfast burrito from Rose Bakery Café in Corona Del Mar Walk to Inspiration Point (6mins) for a beautiful cliff view of the pacific ocean, walk down the hill to the beach Uber/drive over to Lindo Marina Village (15mins) Shop around the village Have lunch at Bear Flag Fish Company Get a coffee/snack at Herst Coffee Roasterrs Uber/drive over to Balboa Peninsula Park (8mins), where you’ll see miles of beautiful beach Walk over to the Tiki Boat dock at 700 Edgewater Place (4mins from Balboa Peninsula Park) Option 2: Laguna Beach Have brunch at Urth Cafe in Laguna Beach Walk to Heisler Park Gazebo, where you will see a beautiful view of the ocean Walk around Laguna Beach and get the best gelato at Gelato Paradiso (7mins) End your day in Laguna with a drink at The Deck (6mins walk from Gelato Paradiso/12mins walk from Casa Loma) Laguna beach is 25 - 50mins (depending on traffic) from the Tiki Boat in Newport, please allocate enough time. If you get to the boat location too early, please walk over to Balboa Peninsula Park where you can hangout on the beach.

Hotels
We recommend staying in Irvine, Newport Beach, or Laguna Beach for close proximity to restaurants and beaches. The wedding venue in San Clemente is around 30 mins from Irvine, 20 mins from Newport Beach and 15 mins from Laguna Beach. We don’t recommend staying in San Clemente since there’s not much to do/hotels options aren’t great in that area. We have listed some options below but there are simply too many hotels in the Orange County area to us to list here. Please text us if you have any questions.

Casa Loma Beach Hotel (formerly The Inn at Laguna Beach)
Casa Loma is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Laguna Beach, a quiet beach town with great food, art, and boutiques. Its walking distance to the beach and lots of great restaurants and shops. The rooms are ~$350 per night.

Pendry Newport Beach
Pendry is located in Fashion Island, walking distance to restaurants/shops and a short drive to the beach. Its newly renovated and ~$450 per night. For those who have the Amex Platinum, Pendry is listed on there :)

Hyatt Regency Newport Beach
Resort style hotel located in Newport Beach with onsite golf. Rooms are around ~$250 per night.

Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa
Resort style hotel in a quiet part of Orange County. Around 10mins walk to the beach. Rooms are ~$450 a night.

Newport Beach Marriott Bayview
A more "corporate" style hotel located by SNA airport. Beautiful views of the Newport back bay but will need car access to restaurants/shops/beach. Rooms are $250 per night.

Fairly new and located by SNA airport and walking distance to a couple good restaurants in the shopping center nearby. Rooms are ~$140 per night.
