We’re getting married!

Delaney and Zachary have a shared love of anime and video games, which was one of the first things they had in common upon meeting. In recent months, Pokémon Go has become a staple and perhaps a mild obsession in their household. Zachary had planned their proposal with Delaney’s friend on the pretense of walking around Westchester Lagoon to play the phone game. On the Coastal Trail with the picturesque view of the Inlet and Mount Susitna (Sleeping Lady), Zachary got down on one knee to ask Delaney “Will you be my forever?” (foreva-eva). After, the two attended an organized surprise dinner at the Crows Nest with close family. Don’t worry we’re writing Nintendo to inquire about a sponsored Pokémon-themed wedding!
