What are rules and requests?

Answer

Since this event is being held at a private venue, we ask that these requests be followed to ensure the event runs smoothly. 1. There will be a cash bar provided, no personal alcohol is permitted at all at the venue. (sealed gifts are allowed) 2. To avoid possible damages to their beautiful property, the venue kindly asks that all children be supervised at all times. 3. Smoking Tobacco & E-Cigarettes is allowed but only in the designated smoking area. This area will be clearly marked. Please be mindful of the property & other non-smokers. Other than those, the Bride & Groom only ask that you enjoy yourself & to be respectful of the venue space as a whole.

What is the dress code/ color scheme?

Answer

Formal Garden Party! Wear whatever formal attire makes you feel confident and feels like a spring garden party. We only ask that no one wears ball gown like dresses (puffy, big etc.) As far as colors, wear whatever you want, just not light greens or pinks as it is the colors of the wedding party. (and of course white :) )

Where should I park?

Answer

The address listed on your ticket is the address to the parking lot for guests. The lovely team at Willow Acres will be transporting people from the parking lot to the event space leading up to the ceremony. The address listed online is the main venue address, not for parking.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM. We ask that you arrive with enough time to park and get transported to the ceremony space. As well as time to mingle and find your seats. No more than 30min before, no less than 10 min before.

What should I bring/prepare for?

Answer

Bring yourself & a good time! WOMEN: Plan on bringing an extra pair of shoes in case it rains & the ground gets soft. If you'd like to bring gifts/cards with you rather than mailing them, you are more than welcome to, there will be a box for them. Food a beverage will be provided, if you'd like to bring something reach out to either Victoria or Dyson.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although we hope for it to be sunny and warm, it may rain and/or be slightly chilly. We recommend preparing for either of these outcomes. (jackets, extra shoes. etc) There will be some umbrellas provided in the case of rain for people to use to get from building to building.

How long is the whole event?

Answer

This event will be about 5 1/2 - 6 hours We will be having a 30-45 minute ceremony. There will be a cocktail hour and a 1.5 hour dinner including speeches & desert. The rest will be dancing/talking/games and having fun until about 9:30 - 10:00 PM.

What's on the menu?

There will be a pizza bar with sauces and sides available. We will do our best to accommodate for gluten/dairy free options as well. There will be a cash bar for alcohol. Other non-alcoholic beverages such as soda, lemonade, water etc. will be provided as well.
