We met on Snapchat… which honestly still feels like the most random, kind of love story. Who would’ve thought snapping would lead me straight to the love of my life? We talked for a few weeks, and let me just say I tried to get Keith to FaceTime me, but he stayed dodging like a pro. At that point, I was fully convinced he had to be a catfish. Like sir… are you real or not?? Eventually, we decided to just go for it and meet up at the movie theater. And yes, I absolutely had the thought in the back of my mind like, “This man could still be a catfish and I’m really about to meet a stranger…” but hey, sometimes you just gotta take a chance. We went to see “Knock at the Cabin”… and barely even watched it because we were too busy talking the whole time. After the movie we sat in my car for three hours just talking and enjoying each other’s company, completely losing track of time. The only thing that snapped us back to reality was my dad calling, checking to make sure I was still alive since I had just met this man for the first time. Little did I know… that “Snapchat boy” was about to become something so much more.
