We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible so we can finalize our seating arrangements and details. The final deadline to RSVP is November 1st.
Our wedding will take place at The Fitz, located in the downstairs of Oh My Darling: The Fitz 321 S. Salina Street Syracuse, NY 13202 We have reserved the entire space, and both the ceremony and reception will be held here. Look for signage to guide you to the best entrance.
There are plenty of parking options near The Fitz. You’ll find metered street parking right outside and several garages within a short walk, such as the Atrium Garage and Clinton Street Garage which will give an all day price option.
Since the venue is in the heart of downtown Syracuse, please allow extra time for parking and walking to the entrance. We kindly ask that everyone is seated by 2:45 PM, as the doors will close shortly before the ceremony to ensure the Brides are not seen before the processional.
Our vision is for all of our guests to be dressed in all black, creating a beautiful and timeless look for the day. If all black isn’t possible, we kindly ask that you stick to dark, solid colors to help keep the atmosphere cohesive. White is strictly reserved for the Brides. This includes mens shirts- NO WHITE.
Because of the intimate setting and space, our guest list is limited to those specifically named on your save-the-date/invitation. We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but we’ve had to design the day with this in mind.
We’ve also made the very difficult decision to keep the event adults-only, with the exception of our own children, who will understandably be present for much of the day.
After the ceremony, we'll be providing complimentary soda, juice, coffee and tea throughout the evening. A full bar will be available if you're looking to purchase something stronger!
Our ceremony will be completely unplugged — no phones. We’ve hired a professional teams to capture every moment, and having guests take photos can interfere with their work and distract from being fully present. The cocktail hour and reception - photos and videos encouraged!
Regarding social media, we’ve chosen a very private approach for our family and our wedding day will be included in that. We kindly ask that you wait to post any content until we have shared them first. When you do share, please be mindful and avoid posting the faces of our children on public profiles.
We were intentional in choosing a local venue to our guests, so we do not have a hotel block. For anyone interested in continuing the celebration after the wedding, we’ll be gathering at Turning Stone Casino. If you’d like to join us there for some gambling and drinks or make a night of it, you’re more than welcome!
After 6 wonderful years together, we've already built our home and have everything we need as far as items. If you'd like to contribute to home renovations or to celebrate with us, we've created a few options including experience-based contributions for our two night *kid free* getaway- like dinner, drinks, hotel stay or spa treatment. You can easily contribute to any of these experiences through our online registry linked above. We're so grateful for your love and support in helping us make this celebration extra special!
