Dylan and Katie met at Purdue University while studying Chemical Engineering. Between Senior Design, Controls, and Chemical Process Safety they enjoyed nights at the Neon Cactus and Harry’s Chocolate Shop. Katie even introduced Dylan to sushi on one of their early dates. After graduation, Dylan enjoyed going to Hawaii with Katie’s family for vacation. A truly memorable trip. Katie moved to New Jersey to start her job while Dylan stayed in the Cincinnati area for his job. After 3.5 years, Katie left the fun, fast paced, hour away from the beach North East to move back to the familiar Midwest. After a few months of being in Indianapolis, Dylan and Katie reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding back on the East Coast. The pair went on a date at The Eagle downtown and have been together since. Dylan moved to Indianapolis in January of 2025. In August, Katie and Dylan moved into their home in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis. After back to back weekends traveling for weddings and a long week at work, Dylan proposed to Katie on Friday September 19th in their home.
