ABOUT THE PROPERTY

We can't wait to have you all join us next year at the Lakehouse Cottages of the Berkshires. We chose this venue for a reason. Located right on Lake Pontoosac in Lanesborough, we want all our guests, whether staying at the venue or not, to take advantage of this beautiful property. Feel free to enjoy yourself on Saturday and Sunday morning, swimming in the lake or taking a kayak out. Bring your bathing suits, your fishing poles, and your jet skis and have a great weekend!

WHO IS STAYING AT THE VENUE?
Answer
While we wish you all could stay at the venue for the weekend, there is simply not enough space for everyone. Select family and members of the wedding party will be staying overnight at the venue. This has been predetermined internally amongst the Lee-Rutherford family.

IS THERE A HOTEL BLOCK?
Answer
We have a hotel block at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort which is about a 10 minute drive from the venue. There will also be shuttles from Jiminy Peak to Lakehouse Cottages for the scheduled Saturday events. Reach out to Dyl or Ru for the Jiminy Peak discount code. For larger parties or out of town guests looking to turn this into a bit of a vacation, there are many beautiful air bnb's on the Pontoosuc Lake that we encourage you to book!

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Answer
The RSVP deadline is June 1st. To ensure we can accommodate all of our guests, we are unable to accept RSVPs after this date. Please mark your calendars and respond on time!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Answer

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE VENUE FOR THE WEDDING?
Answer
The ceremony will begin ~promptly~ at 5:30PM. Please plan to arrive by 5:00PM to ensure you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in. However, we chose this venue for a reason and encourage you to come earlier if you want to hang out! There will be kayaks, paddle-boards, boats, fishing poles, and more fun activities. Just make sure you bring your bathing suit!

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Answer
Select family members (you know who you are) are welcome to bring their kids. There will be plenty of activities at and around the venue, but we also understand that weddings can be long for little ones (and their parents). Please be mindful of your child’s needs as the night goes on and considerate of other guests when it's time to call it a night. There will not be any childcare provided.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we are unable to offer plus ones. Invitations will list the names of the invited guests. Thank you for your understanding!
