Yes! Anyone who received a save the date and formal invitation in the mail is invited to celebrate with us at both the ceremony and at the reception that follows.
We are having a garden party themed wedding! Guests who would like to match the theme are encouraged to wear floral and pastel colors. The wedding has a semi-formal dress code. Suits are not required for men, but permitted. No jeans, no shorts, no white/ivory dresses.
The Phoenicians understood the search for the right color. They actually figured out 3500 years ago how to crush the shells of sea mollusks to craft a rare purple pigment, which they would use to dye robes and clothing that were desired by the royalty of Egypt, Byzantine, and Rome. The Phoenicians dyed the sails of their ships purple and would sail into every war zone in the Mediterranean, and nobody would lay a hand on them because everyone wanted to buy their purple robes. The Phoenicians also invented the alphabet. Whatever color you insert into that blank is fine, as long as you do not use the alphabet to spell the words “white dress.” If you really want a color suggestion, purple is good. Blue, yellow, and green are solid too. Have the mean lady from The Devil Wears Prada explain to you what Cerulean is.
Yes! Guests are encouraged to bring a second pair of comfortable shoes for dancing and socializing. Men are encouraged to not grumble when their wives ask them to fetch her other shoes from the car.
The coelacanth is an ancient lobe-finned fish that was historically believed to have gone extinct during the age of the dinosaurs… at least until a very living coelacanth was captured in 1938 off the coast of South Africa.
Yes! There is ample parking at the front entrance of the venue.
The formal schedule of events for the big day (April 11, 2026) is listed in a separate tab on this website. Please arrive for the ceremony at 3:30, which begins at 4:00. The reception will follow shortly afterward.
Thank you. It was.
Absolutely there will be.
Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception are outdoors at the same venue. The reception area has a covering, the ceremony area does not have a covering. In the event of rain, the reception area will double as the ceremony area. Your seat cushion cannot be used as a flotation device.
My weather app says it will be sunny to partly cloudy skies, with 0% chance of precipitation throughout the day. The high will be 80*, including around the start of the ceremony (4:00pm for those who skimmed or already forgot). It should not get lower than about 68* before the reception ends at 8:50pm. Sunset is at 7:51pm. Let me know if your weather app says something different.
Please refrain from taking pictures or videos during the ceremony. Guests are welcome to take pictures and videos during the reception.

There will be a golf cart* shuttle available for guests who need assistance getting from their cars to the ceremony area of the venue. (*Sorry, someone already called dibs on driving the golf cart.)
Unfortunately, no outside animals are allowed anywhere on the premises of the venue due to the farm animals that already reside there.
Absolutely not. Our wedding planner will push you in the lake.
Nope. Lake.
Formal invitations were postmarked around January 9, 2026. A special “RSVP” tab has been added to this wedding website. Please visit that page once you have received your formal invite.
We are very sorry, our flower girl was in charge of those. Of course we know how to spell the name of our dear sweet friend/coworker/parent.
We sure hope not, but it really depends on how many advertisement slots we sell to sponsors.
Andorra’s 1993 constitution established a parliamentary coprincipality. It is a representative democracy with three branches of government and a multi-party system. Fascinatingly, this completely independent European country voluntarily chooses to have two co-princes: the bishop of Urgell (in Spain) and the President of France.
We are only able to accommodate the guests that are specifically listed by name on your formal invitation. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about the guest list.
Yes! Your ticket to the wedding includes an all-access pass to the buffet at the wedding and your choice of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options. Please make sure to provide us with any dietary restrictions you may have when you RSVP.
Yes! Restrooms are located at the reception area. There is a bit of a walk between the ceremony area and the reception area, so just plan accordingly.
Yes! Lots of it.
It is Japanese for “empty orchestra.”

At least you do not need a passport!! Unlike the 4th through 12th grade children living in Point Roberts, Washington. America ended up with 5 square miles on the southernmost tip of Canada’s Tsawwassen peninsula after the 1846 Oregon Treaty with Britain established the 49th parallel as the American-Canadian border—before anyone had surveyed exactly where that line was. America has never volunteered to give the pene-exclave up, and thus Point Roberts remains a census-designated area of Whatcom County, WA with a population of 1,249 that is only accessible by land through Canada, by boat, or by private airplane. It actually received international acclaim in April 2020 as one of the safest places on Earth due to its isolation from the mainland U.S. and limited Canadian border access. Anyway, the area only has a primary school and all American children living in Point Roberts and attending public school above the third grade must cross international borders four times every school day on twin 40-minute bus rides through British Columbia in order to attend school in Blaine, WA.
There will be a table located on your pathway between the parking lot and the ceremony area. Absolutely no obligation to bring anything. Emma is the best gift already 🥰
What is really nonsense is that the town of Redondo Beach, California made The Goodyear Blimp their official bird (seriously, see Resolution No. 6252; Dec. 12, 1983).
