Maid of Honor
Abby is my older sister and best friend. We have grown up together sharing a love for the outdoors, horses, and even a bedroom. We have always had a very close relationship and tell each other everything. Abby, Dylan and I ran track and cross country together in high school. Dylan and Abby graduated together from high school in 2016. Abby has been by my side my whole life, so it was only fitting that she be by my side when I say "I do." I love you, Ab.
Best Man
Little known fact is that John did not attend public school until the last two days of 8th grade. Little did I know that he followed me around to all of my classes for those last two days and we have been following each other closely ever since! Through both high school and college we have been super close friends and I look forward to being friends for many years to come! John is an absolute awesome guy and I am very privileged to have him as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Darci is Dylan's eldest sister. She has been so welcoming to me since the very moment Dylan and I's relationship blossomed. She is beautiful, silly, and a load of fun. My fondest memory with Darci is getting to spend a week with her in her home, San Francisco. I always look forward to when Darci is home visiting. I cannot wait for her to help Dylan and I celebrate our big day! I look forward to gaining her as a sister in law. We love you, Darci!
Groomsman
Dakota is my brother. I am very excited to have him as a groomsmen, although we have our differences in post secondary education choices, we still love hanging out together when we can. I have known him his whole life and he has never failed to put a smile on my face with his achievements in academics and his participation in many organizations. I am very ecstatic to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Claire is my cousin and best good friend wrapped all into one. Claire and I have always had a close bond growing up. When we are together, we are silly, noisy, and rambunctious. Some like to say we look like twins, but we do not buy it. My fondest memories growing up include camping at the Monroe County Fair with Claire and Abby. We had late nights and early mornings of showing horses, walking the fairgrounds, eating cinnamon rolls, and having a good time. Ironically, the day Dylan and I say "I do" is also Claire's 20th birthday! That means the day will be filled with double the fun. Claire, I love you buddy.
Groomsman
Cory is Zoie's younger brother. I have known Cory for several years through running cross country and through the summers we have worked together at Abell Nursery. This working relationship created many memories and even some sayings such as, "Hello I am Abell Nursery." Getting to know him while working through really hot summers and making residential houses and businesses look outstanding with landscape, I am excited to gain him as a brother-in-law and really excited to have him as a groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Her name is Hannah, but you will never catch me calling her that. For as long as I can remember, I have called Hannah by her nickname "Huna." Huna and I go way back. We grew up together playing basketball. We were inseparable in high school. From basketball to pep band, track and field, or anatomy class, Huna and I would be joined at the hip. Together, we watched each other grow from miserable high school freshmen to young adults. Throughout the years, we have picked each other up, confided in each other, and made thousands of memories together. Huna, I cannot wait for you to help me celebrate one of the biggest days of my life!
Groomsman
I met Nick Boyd through the organization of Young Life at my high school, Eastern Greene. Ever since that first day he randomly showed up to a cross country practice we have been really good friends. Nick has been a fantastic role model for me and has pushed me to be the best Christian/Godly man that I can be. Although he teaches crazy middle school students in Kentucky, whenever he comes back to Bloomington to visit he always asks where I am to catch up with me. I am very excited to have him as an important piece in the biggest day of my life so far.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlynn (KK) has been one of my best friends since the first grade! We met on a school field trip at the Indianapolis Zoo, where we bonded over our love for animals. Ever since, we have had a close friendship. I remember talking on the phone for hours after school in elementary and middle school. In the fourth grade, she asked my first crush if he would be my boyfriend while I hid by the baseball field. We quickly became a part of each others families, as we would crash at each others houses almost every weekend over the summers. For several years I would go to Florida with KK's family for spring break. I have thousands of cherished memories with KK. I am so grateful for our friendship. I cannot wait for her to be there while I say "I do."
Groomsman
Mitch is another college friend that I met when placed on the McCutcheon Young Life team my freshman year of college. I have always thought of him as a role model for how to be a Godly man, a good husband, and a great friend. Ever since the spring of 2019 we have met at least once a week to talk about life. This has drawn me closer to Mitch in so many different ways. I am thankful to have him as such a close friend. I am so pumped to have Mitch as one of my groomsmen to celebrate this big day with me.
Bridesmaid
Kalei was the new kid in fourth grade. We hit it off pretty well, but did not become as close as we are now until the seventh grade. Having study hall together, we would spend our times doodling, writing funny songs about our teachers, and pointing to pictures of monkeys in National Geographics and saying "this one looks like you." Kalei and I grew up not only being able to make each other laugh, but we also have been really good at connecting and being there for one another. Kalei unfortunately moved before we got to high school. Since then, however, we have kept in touch and get together when we can. I do not see Kalei as often as we would like, but she is a forever friend. I am incredibly grateful for our bond. I cannot wait to have her by my side on the big day!
Groomsman
Sam is someone I met in college our freshman year but did not start building a relationship until our junior year of college. Sam is a fantastic friend that loves all sports as much, if not more, than I do. We bonded over watching Sportscenter or any other talk show that included sports and now we are closer than ever because we sleep in the same room, I have top bunk, while he sleeps on the bottom. Sam is a great model for what a devout Christian looks like and the conversations we have always show me how much he loves Jesus. I am very excited for Sam to be a groomsman for our wedding day!
