Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Zoe Steindl and Dylan Sisco
Home of the Chisos Mountain range this area of Texas is an absolute hidden gem and one of the reasons why we chose to get married out here. Big Bend National Park is one of the most remote parks in the continental United States. There are tons of trails to explore in the park itself and everything from horseback riding, river excursions, jeeping, atv tours, biking, star gazing, birding, and hot springs. You can even cross over the border into Mexico at Boquillas (with a valid passport). We hope that everyone gets to truly enjoy this beautiful place outside of just our wedding day.

Boquillas

Mexico

We highly recommend crossing the river to the tiny Mexican town of Boquillas. Have lunch, buy some souvenirs and even stay the night. This charming village relies on Big Bend visitors to survive. Bring your passport and cash, they do not accept credit cards in town. The crossing to Boquillas is inside the National Park, check here for current hours and keep in mind there are often closures. After arriving at the crossing you'll be rowed across the river and then have the option to walk or ride a burro into town.

Marfa

Marfa, TX 79843

Quirky little artist town located on the way from El Paso to Terlingua with cute shops, places to eat, and art installations.
