We would love to see you dressed up! Dresses or or nice slacks/shorts with a button up shirt would be a great choice. It will be HOT so shorts are not off limits! Also, we recommend a change of clothes. The ceremony is outside and you may sweat or get rained on. lol
The ceremony will be outside. If it is raining, we will be under an overhang. If the weather is really bad we will move into the reception venue. However, if the sun is out we will be in the garden....in direct sunlight. The cocktail hour will be outside/under the overhang. The reception will be inside with A/C.
If there is not a plus-one on your RSVP, then we have not coordinated or paid for a spot for you to bring a plus one. We have decided this option to help keep our wedding day a little more intimate. If you have any questions regarding your plus-one, please let us know ASAP.
Jacksonville Airport is the closest major airport to Gainesville at 1.5 hrs. Tampa and Orlando airports are almost the exact same drive (about 2 hours). Gainesville Airport is the most ideal, although pricey!
The B&B has cottages available for rent. There is also a Hampton Inn right around the corner.
If you have a long distance to travel it may be best to arrive the day before. However, with flights having the possibility to get delayed or cancelled due to weather, it may be best to fly in on Wednesday the 21st.
