Engaged December 12, 2024 on private island in Montego Bay Jamaica
Dylan and Tenè met in 2018 in Long Beach California at a social gathering. They soon began dating and after some time Dylan returned home to Pittsburgh to earn his MBA and attend law school. They continued dating long distance and eventually Dylan asked Tenè to be his girlfriend. Once becoming an official couple Tenè relocated to Pittsburgh to be with Dylan and returned to college to earn her bachelor's degree in registered nursing. Dylan is from a Korean American family. His grandparents relocated from Korea and settled on the island of St. Thomas in the Caribbean, where his father was born. His mother was born in New Jersey, and Dylan himself was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by both of his parents. Tenè is of African American heritage. Her maternal grandmother was originally from Louisiana and later moved to Los Angeles, California, where Tenè's mother was born. Her father was born in Texas, Arkansas and Tene' grew up in Los Angeles with both of her parents. Dylan and Tenè's parents instilled strong family values and hard work ethic into their lives at an early age. Over the last several years they have applied those values to help each other reach their career and life goals. Since meeting, they have built a life rooted in love, ambition, and growth. Dylan earned his MBA, completed his Juris Doctor, and has begun his career as an attorney. Tenè continues advancing her career in healthcare and is currently pursuing her degree as a nurse practitioner. Outside of their careers, they enjoy spending time with their family, friends, and their husky, Ghost. They were engaged on December 12, 2024 on a private beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica. In August 2025, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family.
