Sophia and Dylan met on Christmas night of 2020 at the unfortunate spot of Jack in the Box. Sophia initially thought Dylan was super annoying because, out of all of their friends in attendance, Dylan somehow talked the whole. Entire. Time. Thankfully, it was time for Dylan to leave, so he started his prized white BMW to warm it up. It was growing unbearably cold for Sophia, so with her charm, she asked Dylan if she could sit in his passenger seat and warm up before he left. He was kind and said yes. As Sophia sat in his car, she made the mistake of asking him about the car’s interior. Dylan instantly beamed and went on to explain his car for another hour. Sophia sat there, listening to him… ever so patiently. After that night, Sophia and Dylan kept crossing paths with their groups of friends and slowly realized that the other person was, in fact, super chill. After Sophia ghosted (aka went no contact with) Dylan for one week after he confessed his feelings for her, Sophia knew that she had feelings for Dylan. Because Sophia is so irresistible, Dylan allowed her back into his life. Fast forward to April of 2021, Sophia and Dylan made it official, and life has been ever so sweet. Sophia loves that Dylan is motivated, kind, patient, and that he would do absolutely anything for her. She does not take that for granted. Dylan loves how funny, loving, and sarcastic Sophia is, as well as how gorgeous, pretty, fun, and extremely humble she is. Sophia and Dylan thank God for His plan. They, of course, would not have it any other way.
After four years together, still boyfriend and girlfriend, Sophia was getting antsy. She knew God had big plans for them based on the time they had shared. Sophia then started “planting the seed,” casually mentioning things here and there like, “Dang, this ring finger is looking pretty bare. What a shame.” Dylan also felt they were ready for the next step and began looking at rings. Let me paint the picture for you: Hawaii, April 28th, 2025. Sunset was approaching, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Dylan and his parents stressed to Sophia that she needed to be ready by a specific time. Sophia was suspicious because they were in Hawaii, on “Hawaii time,” where there is no rush for anything. They claimed, “Oh, we’re just going to take some cute family photos before dinner.” Interesting. Sophia knew exactly what was about to go down because no one keeps a secret from her. As they took a golf cart down the path to their “secret location,” Sophia soaked in the beautiful beach views and just so happened to apply cuticle oil and hand lotion. Meanwhile, Dylan was sweating next to her and avoiding eye contact. Weird. They stopped on the golf course, surrounded by God’s beautiful creation: the glowing sunset, waves crashing on the shore, and the gentle sea breeze. It was there that Dylan got down on one knee and, with a beautiful speech, asked Sophia to marry him. Sophia replied, “Finally, I mean… yes!” as she held out her well-manicured, well-hydrated, cuticle-glistening hand while Dylan slipped the ring onto her finger. Dylan and Sophia celebrated for the rest of their trip, both overjoyed and excited for their forever together.
