Burntshirt Vineyard
2695 Sugarloaf Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792
This is where Dylan proposed on our 6th anniversary. Outside in the fields of the vineyard, covered in snow and the sun reflecting off the white blanket. The head winemaker gave us a grand tour and let us sample some red wines straight from the barrel. It was an amazing experience.
Brooks Tavern
142 3rd Avenue West, Hendersonville, NC 28792
We went here right after getting engaged, since it was the end of winter in the mountains, the restaurant Dylan had made reservations for had to cancel due to frozen roads. We spent an hour looking for a place to celebrate, and I am so glad we found this place. It was warm, homey and perfect for us and we got one of the best burgers we ever had, 10/10.
