Garden of the Gods - Jeep Foothills Tour

This historic sightseeing adventure is a great way to enjoy the Pikes Peak region. Led by cowboy guides, this informative and entertaining tour ((2.5-3) hours) will guide you through the foothills of Pikes Peak. Your (19.5) mile/(4-5) hour downhill adventure from the summit of the world's most famous mountain...Pikes Peak, will stay in your memories long after your vacation is over. ​The trip begins at Adventures Out West's bike depot, located at 925 S. 8th Street for waiver signing, bike fitting, and fun. You will then depart from the shop for the tour of a lifetime to the summit of Pikes Peak (14,115'). Once on the summit, explore the Visitors Center and get ready for some of the best biking in Colorado. The adventure - as you descend down the mountain, you will pass through five different life zones, each zone having a different climate, vegetation, and wildlife. Keep your eyes open for eagles, deer, elk, Rocky Mountain big horn sheep, black bears, marmots, and an occasional mountain lion.
