Garden of the Gods - Jeep Foothills Tour
This historic sightseeing adventure is a great way to enjoy the Pikes Peak region. Led by cowboy guides, this informative and entertaining tour ((2.5-3) hours) will guide you through the foothills of Pikes Peak. Tour guides will highlight scenery and some of Colorado Springs’ most famous historical sights. Attractions include North Cheyenne Canyon, Helen Hunt Falls, the Shortline Railroad (and its 100-year-old tunnels), Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and, the spectacular red rock park, Garden of the Gods.
Challenge Unlimited - Pikes Peak Bicycle Expedition
Join the thousands of visitors who have experienced the ultimate ride with Challenge Unlimited. Your (19.5) mile/(4-5) hour downhill adventure from the summit of the world's most famous mountain...Pikes Peak, will stay in your memories long after your vacation is over. The trip begins at Adventures Out West's bike depot, located at 925 S. 8th Street for waiver signing, bike fitting, and fun. You will then depart from the shop for the tour of a lifetime to the summit of Pikes Peak (14,115'). Once on the summit, explore the Visitors Center and get ready for some of the best biking in Colorado. The adventure - as you descend down the mountain, you will pass through five different life zones, each zone having a different climate, vegetation, and wildlife. Keep your eyes open for eagles, deer, elk, Rocky Mountain big horn sheep, black bears, marmots, and an occasional mountain lion.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Colorado Springs is home to America's mountain Zoo. Located at 6,714 feet above sea level, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers breathtaking views of the city and of its hundreds of animals. Ride an antique carousel, eat a gourmet lunch at the Grizzly Grill and ride the Mountaineer Sky Ride to the Zoo's summit. The unique design of the Zoo's animal exhibits gets guests closer than ever before. U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center
The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center offers year-round guided tours of the OPTC facilities. The guided walking tour explores several training venues at the OPTC, lasting approximately 75 minutes.
Juniper Valley Ranch
