Maid of Honor
It might be that we have been best friends for 18 years, look similar or have almost the same name (save one letter) but we have always been inseparable. Signature dance move: The Worm.
Best Man
The man, the myth, the legend. Beloved by both of us, he has been the kindest of friends. Someone that you would want with you on a journey of great peril, perhaps even into a mythical fire-y hellscape in which you need to drop a ring into a volcano.
Bridesmaid
Closest of friends since middle school, Hanna and I not only share love for Jane Austen, tea, and cats, but also a birthday! Dylan and I both adore Hanna for encouraging weekly board game nights and bringing us her delicious baked goods.
Groomsman
Dylan's roommate at UNR. Despite the distance, we've managed driving and flying to see each other for life updates. If he looks a little tired it's because he recently became a father.
Bridesmaid
My favorite suitemate from college, might have literally saved my life from an insane roommate. Even with the distance of half the country, we have stayed the best of friends.
Groomsman
A long-time friend since high school, Sully has the remarkable ability to make every conversation enjoyable. Hearing the interest in his questions and joy in his laughs is wonderful.
Mother of the Groom
Our relationship's biggest fan, she might just have wedding photos framed before the reception starts. Also notable, Dylan wouldn't be here without her.
Father of the Groom
Sense of humor? Check. Confidence? Check. Secret martial arts mastery? Maybe, but I wouldn't risk having to find out. Sorry applicants, he's taken. Any complaints, see Andrea.
Mother of the Bride
Taught both of us everything to know about keeping up an old house and gardening - invaluable skills to have as new, old house owners. Loving cat-grandma.
Officiant
Dylan's wonderful uncle. He does crossfit so he could outrun any of us.
