What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Dressy casual/Brunch attire/Sunday morning dress For women: think comfy, long or short dresses. The ceremony will be outdoors so you may want to wear a thicker block heel or wedge to help manage the grass. There is a small walk from the parking lot to the ceremony location so wear shoes that are comfortable and walkable. Colors and patterns are welcomed! Though this is a December wedding, there will be lots of color in the decor and floral arrangements, like it is spring. For men: Think slacks, a button down, tie/sports coat is optional! We want everyone to feel good and be comfortable as we share this day with them!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the Silver Springs Park. Guests will need to park there, let the front entrance staff know they are there for the Lerner-Holliday Wedding, and walk through the scenic park from the parking lot to the Twin Oaks Mansion. The ceremony and reception will be at the same place!

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors while the reception will be under cover on an outdoor patio/pavilion.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

An average day in Ocala, FL in the month of December sees a high of about 72 degrees and the average low at 51 degrees. It tends to be mildly cool and comfortable for an outdoor wedding, but it is recommended to bring a light cover up in case. If it rains, we will move the ceremony under the covered pavilion attached to the main venue.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one and/or my children?

Answer

Of course, so long as they are included on the invite! If your invitation does not include them, then we are not currently expecting additional guests.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving a brunch menu that includes Belgian waffles, Tomato/spinach/feta omelet, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, breakfast potatoes, mini-Danishes, muffins, and croissants. Beverages include sweet tea, lemonade, water, and a coffee bar!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There will be no alcohol at this wedding but there will be an open coffee bar in between the ceremony and reception while guests wait for the wedding party to arrive from taking pictures.
