ACT I: SWIPING Rachel and Dylan met the way that all 21st century couples worth their salt do, on an app. Bumble to be more specific. Mutual Swipe-age occurred and the rest is history. The one on P or the smaller one on 20th? ACT III: "Can I Irish Goodbye?" Rachel arrived to the Emissary on P st hungover, and really not feeling it but arrived punctually. As Steve always told her "proper planning prevents poor performance" and sometimes she listens to that and is punctual to things. Rachel looked over and saw Dylan and her first instinct was to text her dear friend asking if she could back out. She didn't. Their first date lasted four hours spanning 2 coffee shops, 1 book store, several bad jokes, and Dylan pulling out a book on Japanese Baths that featured an 80s-era conference phone sitting in a luxurious bathroom that he later tracked down on eBay for a first-anniversary gift.
