Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding will be a primarily dry event with no bar. We however will have a champagne toast for those who wish to partake! We will have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available as well.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. Please check out our travel page thought to see the hotels and Airbnb rentals we recommend most in the area!

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations. From historic hotels like the Windsor in Americus to cozy country cabins in Montezuma and waterfront homes right on Lake Blackshear, we’re sure you’ll find the right fit for you.

Yes, children are a joy we can’t wait to welcome to our wedding celebration!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

While we have a set menu, we are happy to do our best to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Please feel free to take your photos before and after the ceremony or help us capture the fun at the reception!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Both the ceremony and reception will take place inside, but feel free to bring your umbrella for walking in between outdoors.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at Montezuma Methodist Church for the ceremony in the back parking lot and street parking in the front. At McKenzie Memorial Country Club for the reception there will be grass parking.

How should I RSVP?

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 P.M. on May 2nd at Montezuma Methodist Church. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.
