Welcome Drinks: Love City Brewing Gardens 6:00 - 9:00 PM On Friday night at 6 pm, we will have a welcome event at Love City Brewing. The welcome event is a laid-back night to gather, mingle, and start the weekend together. With many guests traveling from out of town, we wanted a fun, easy way to connect — drinks and casual bites will be served! Cocktail Hour and Reception: Reading Terminal Market 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM The main celebration will take place on Saturday at 7 pm with a cocktail hour and reception at Reading Terminal Market. Be sure to come hungry!
Welcome Drinks: Casual/smart casual For the welcome event, we’re going for a casual night-out vibe. Wear something comfortable yet polished — what you’d choose for dinner or drinks in the city. Cocktail Hour & Reception: Formal Dress to impress for the cocktail hour and reception! Floor-length or mid-calf dresses, suits, or dress pants with a blazer are all great options.
If you are staying in one of the hotel blocks, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to the welcome event at Love City Brewing (1023 Hamilton Street). Public transportation and parking are also options for both events. For the welcome event, street parking is available nearby, including metered spaces along Spring Garden Street (prepare for 5-10 minute walk). There is also a public, paid parking lot directly next to the brewery. For public transportation, SEPTA’s Broad Street Line stops just a few blocks away at Broad & Spring Garden. The cocktail hour and reception at Reading Terminal Market is walking distance from both hotels within the wedding block. There is discounted self-parking ($10.99)available from 6:00 PM–6:00 AM at the Hilton Garden Inn Garage (1102 Arch Street, 11th & Arch). Look for Metropolis Parking signage. The Metropolis Parking app is required to access the discount. Please note that the nearby Parkway Parking Garage does not offer the discounted rate.
The welcome event will be held outdoors with covered areas. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors.
On Friday, we will be at the brewery from 6:00 - 9:00 pm! Find us in the Garden. On Saturday, doors will open & the cocktail hour will begin at 7:00 pm. The event entrance will be Door Six of the Reading Terminal Market. This is located at the corner of 12th Street and Filbert Street and positioned beneath the iconic Reading Terminal Market neon sign. This entrance will also be indicated by a sidewalk sign that reads: Private Event Entrance.
