He was very sure not to kiss me on the first date because “that’s not gentleman like”. He is everything I’ve ever prayed for. For years I have been praying for my Husband, not knowing how soon he would show up in my life. Dylan is the definition of a 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 man. He is the kindest man I have ever met. He always put others before himself. He loves my family just as much as I do. He is the biggest protector but also has the softest heart. He will stand up for his beliefs no matter what. Oaklen Pruitt is my nephew. I was 12 when Oaklen was born, and he immediately became like my little baby. We honestly grew up together and became more like brother and sister. Sean Barker is my dad; he is one of those characters you just can't put into words. My dad always made sure we were provided for and needed for nothing. He continued to show up no matter what. He gave the best hugs in the world, and he could turn any bad day into a good one with his jokes. Sean was one of those once-in-a-lifetime men. He was everything to me. It breaks my heart to know Dylan never got to meet him, but I truly believe that Dad sent him to me. I know Dad is going to be up there celebrating with us because Dylan is everything he ever wanted for me. Dad made sure to instill very important traits that were needed in a man- Strength, Love, Compassion, Faith, and Humor. Dad always told me, "Girls normally find a man that reminds them of their dad, 'I mean, I am pretty cool.' " And Dylan reminds me of him in many ways. I'm not sure how we are going to celebrate the Sean way, but I know he is celebrating with Jesus. I love you to Heaven and back, Dad.

Dylan is also Mattison's brother-in-law. Dylan and I immediately hit it off because we have the same name. We always joke about how Dylans are good people. Not only do we have the same name, but he is also heartfelt, funny, and caring. You can always catch him streaming on Call of Duty with his son Oaklen, or playing guitar and killing it with Darius. We appreciate you being here for us.

Bryson is someone I met through Matti when she brought me to her church for the first time. Bryson is the worship pastor at our church. Bryson keeps God at the center of everything he does, and that is something I admire about him. Bryson immediately made me feel at home the second I walked into church. I met Noah in high school but became friends with him through his brother Connor. Noah and I quickly became friends and found out that we had a lot in common. We attended almost every hockey game together, hunted together, and shot at the range all the time. He quickly became like a brother to me. I wouldn't be where I am today without you, bro. I met Julio in High school, and we quickly became friends. Together, we felt like we ruled the school. We worked together in the fire department, and I learned that he would always have my back. Julio is an overall amazing guy, he continues to show up for people and gives his all to everyone. Julio will always be one of my best friends.
