Frisco has an elevation of 9,097 feet. We highly recommend drinking lots of water 3 days prior to your flight and throughout your visit. It can be helpful to acclimate in the Denver area (5,280') before making the drive if you have the time. There are oxygen and IV bars available in Frisco!
Colorado is known for being sunny a majority of the year but there is the occasional afternoon rainstorm. Once the sun sets, it can get chilly. Basically - no idea.
We recommend arriving about 20 minutes early to account for the short walk up the forest to the ceremony spot. We also recommend bringing an umbrella as rain can be unpredictable. Keep your phone on you in case we need to delay the start of the ceremony due to weather!
There is a parking lot for the ceremony. Follow the signs to Windy Point Campground that are along the road. Once you see a gate, you will enter and then follow the gravel road to the FOREST LOOP Site 1 parking lot. For the reception, there is some free street parking and a parking lot behind the building. There is also a free bus service, the Summit Stage, that runs to Frisco from Breckenridge, Copper, Dillon, Silverthorne and Keystone. The bus typically runs every 30 minutes and the last bus leaves Frisco at about 11:30pm. For detailed info and the current schedule, visit Summit Stage. There is a Summit Stage bus stop 100 yards from the entrance to 10 Mile Music Hall.
